Country Delivery is a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle that is part of Buffalo’s Country Life series. The series’ theme is on rustic imagery of flowers, dogs, tractors, and flags. For Country Delivery, the illustration fits that rustic theme with a patriotic US post office and coffee shop on an autumn day. Overall, the puzzle was a fast finish and lots of fun.
Buffalo Games’ website does not provide a detailed description on the Country Life series, except for the following: “The Country Life series is chock-full with layered images of flowers, birds, quilts, wheel barrows, flags, dogs, and other rustic themed images.” Country Delivery’s illustration fits the description with the rustic post office and coffee shop surrounded by fresh flowers on an autumn day. In comparison with the Farm Flower Shed, another puzzle in the Country Life series, both have flowers, barns, dogs, and birds.
Our plan for solving Country Delivery was to sort the pieces into the following areas: the border, sky, US post office signage with the white wall, red striped awning, cobbled street, blue mail truck, windows, and yellow flower bus. After sorting, the border was assembled first and then from top to bottom. The windows and flowers were last to be assembled.
It took the three of us a little over three hours to solve Country Delivery, which is faster than on average for a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. The uniformity of the top half of the puzzle made the puzzle straightforward to assemble. The blue mail truck and yellow flowers bus were easy to sort. The hardest part were the flowers.
Overall, Country Delivery is the 17th puzzle that we’ve solved from our 87 puzzle collection. Leave us a comment if there are any other puzzles from Buffalo’s Country Life series that you would want us to solve.
